Welcome to the 13th ThinkSmall -  Richmond’s most loved biennial celebration of TINY ART!

Every two years, Artspace issues invitations to artists, challenging them to create work no bigger than the palm of your hand. For years, the work had to be 3 inches or smaller. Since 2023, ThinkSmall has been BIGGER THAN EVER, and we now invite work 4 inches or less!

Here is just a glimpse of what you will enjoy in this exhibition of over 200 artists and almost 500 artworks. As you can see, artist ingenuity knows no bounds. The variety of work, from whimsical to somber, from apples to abstract, from beetles to landscapes, is enormous!

Artists generously agree to donate 50% or more of their sales to Artspace.

We hope you will celebrate TINY ART with your purchases, thereby supporting artists and helping Artspace fulfill its mission in being your community art gallery.

Gala Preview: December 4th, 6pm-9pm.

Have first pick of the art and meet many of the artists!

Participating artists receive a complimentary ticket (“will call” at the door on the 4th). Artists’ guests and other visitors may purchase $25 tickets online HERE or at the door on the 4th. (Avoid the line and buy from HERE in advance!) Enjoy complimentary drinks and appetizers.

Public Opening Reception: December 5th, 6pm-8pm.

Appetizers and cash bar.

Exhibition runs December 6th to December 20th.

Gallery hours 12pm-4pm, Wednesday-Sunday.
