Between Us and the Borders

March 27 - April 18, 2026

Framed photographic prints

Between Us and the Borders is an exhibition of approximately 40 framed photographic works drawn from my documentary practice of recent years. The images are printed and framed in sizes ranging from 8 × 11 to 11 × 14 inches, matted and displayed on a folding rack. The series includes photographs taken across Iran, Kurdistan, Hawaii, the United States, end etc forming a visual mosaic of shared human experience.

Artist Statement

I am drawn to photographing moments charged with tension—whether on the street, in an asylum, or within a bustling bazaar. My work explores the quiet chaos of human life, embracing its contradictions: the eccentric and the ordinary, the visible and the felt. For me, photography is not merely documentation but interpretation—a continuous dialogue between reality and emotion. I began as a street photographer and later expanded into travel and documentary work, always grounded in a critical observation of society. For over a decade, my camera has been a tool for telling stories of human bodies and fleeting moments within the spaces we inhabit and often overlook.
