Ceramics
August 22 - September 20, 2025
Elisabeth Flynn-Chapman Gallery

“Cone 10 and Below,” is an exploration of ceramics through individual and team transformation, innovation, and collaboration. David Camden, Amanda Lucy, John Mottie, Kendra Wadsworth and Paul Terrell are making and working separately and together expanding the possibilities of creating with earth, water, fire and air. Works from recycled clay, eclectic materials, with an assortment of electric and gas fired kilns that reach Cone 10 (2350 – 2381 degrees Fahrenheit) to Cone 015 (1381 degrees Fahrenheit) will be presented.

This exhibition will showcase a dynamic range of individual ceramic works completed through collaborative and individual firings. The synergy and individual creations highlight the unique styles and perspectives of each artist. Through the use of Raku, soda, gas and electric kiln firings the artists of the Camden Clayworks Group will present a diverse array of pieces that reflect their passion for clay and their individual artistic voices.
