Artist Statement

Richmond based painter Kathy Calhoun thinks Artspace is just about the best place in town to exhibit art. She is proud to be a member of such a diverse, eclectic creative group of artists. When not at your easel, Kathy can be found teaching either watercolor and drawing outreach workshops at the Visual Arts Center or design foundations at John Tyler Community College. Finding a vibrant balance between discipline and creativity is her inspriration both in the studio and the classroom.
