Tell Tale Hearts Storytellers Theater

Welcome to the Fourth Season
of the Tell Tale Hearts Storytellers Theater!

We are looking forward to a terrific season this year. We have some surprises, a new concert form and the return of some of our favorite themes. In addition to five of the original members of Tell Tale Hearts, you will be hearing new up-and-coming tellers, and guest tellers. As always, you will hear refreshing stories to fill your heart, make you laugh and give you hope.

Mark your calendars now for:
October 26, The Bewitching Hour, Halloween & Ghost Stories, not for the faint of heart!
November 22, Tellabration!, an international celebration of storytelling
December 7, Holiday Stories at Walkerton, Henrico County's annual tree lighting celebration
February 8, Fools For Love, stories of love, fools and fools in love
April 5, Tell Tale Hearts, Back in the Saddle Again, tales from the old west
June 7, Smiles for a Summer Evening, light, fun stories.

All of our concerts, except for the Holiday Stories and Tellabration!, will take place at the Cultural Arts Center in Glen Allen in the Siegel Studio. Starting time is 8 p.m. Cost is $6 for adults, $3 for children under 14.

Tellabration! will find us in an alternative location. We will be appearing at Artspace, 6 East Broad Street. Tellabration! is an event sponsored by the National Storytelling Network. Simultaneously in locations around the world, people will be celebrating the glorious art of storytelling on the third weekend in November. Join us at Artspace on Friday, November 22, 8 p.m.

Holiday Stories will be part of Henrico County Parks and Recreation tree lighting at Walkerton on the Cultural Arts Center at Glen Allen grounds, December 7, 3-4:30

We are excited to be reinstating our Open Mike nights, where everyone can come to listen and tell in an informal setting. Our first Open Mike will be Thursday, September 19 at 7:30 p.m. We will meet at the Barnes and Noble Bookstore at Short Pump, 11640 West Broad Street. It is just west of Pump Road on the north side of Broad Street. Look for our big Tell Tale Heart in the café area. The second Open Mike will be on Thursday, October 24. 7:30p.m. Be sure to bring your Halloween stories in October. Stay tuned for future dates.
